Universal smart charger kit

The DUSLAN V2299 is a universal smart charger bundled with four C-size AccuPower AccuLoop NiMH batteries rated at 4500 mAh and 1.2 Volt. It accepts worldwide AC input from 100 to 240V at 50 or 60 hz and delivers 12VDC at 1000mA via an external adapter. The unit charges AA, AAA, C, D and 9 Volt NiMH or NiCd cells in pairs or quartets.

Microprocessor control and LED status

An intelligent microprocessor automatically selects the charge current for each battery size and terminates power when cells reach full charge using negative delta V detection. The LED display indicates rapid charge, trickle charge and bad cell detection for every slot. The included AccuLoop batteries arrive pre-charged, hold 85% capacity after a year in storage and are rated for up to 1000 recharge cycles.

Charge-time limits by chemistry and size

Charge duration scales with capacity: AAA and AA cells take one to three hours, C cells require two to eight hours, D cells need two to sixteen hours and 9 Volt cells take nine to twenty hours. The charger handles only two or four batteries simultaneously and cannot charge lithium-ion or other chemistries. The bundled C cells cannot replace D cells in devices requiring the larger form factor.
