Eight-bay charger with included cells

The DUSLAN V868 charges two, four, six or eight AA or AAA NiMH or NiCd batteries at once. Sixteen AA cells rated at 800 mAh and 1.2 V are supplied in the box. The unit accepts 120 V AC input and delivers 2.8 V DC at 200 mA for AA or 80 mA for AAA. An internal IC timer stops fast charging after 12 hours and switches to trickle current.

Fits a bench or travel kit

Measuring 18 cm by 7.5 cm by 5 cm, the charger sits on a desk or packs into a gear bag without special mounting. It draws 9 W from a standard North American outlet, so no dedicated circuit or high-wattage supply is required. LEDs show the charge status for each pair, freeing the user from guessing when cells are ready. The pair-wise charging circuit means odd numbers of cells cannot be charged alone.

Steady output over long sessions

The timer-limited fast charge prevents overheating during extended use, while the trickle phase keeps cells topped up without stress. Each included AA cell is rated for up to 1000 recharge cycles and exhibits no memory effect, so capacity remains stable after repeated deep discharges. The charger holds CE and UL approvals and meets RoHS requirements for continued safe operation.
