Eight-bay charger with included cells

The DUSLAN V868 charges two to eight AA or AAA nickel-metal hydride or nickel-cadmium cells in pairs, and ships with eight AAA batteries rated at 900 mAh and 1.2 V. It accepts 120 V AC at 60 Hz and draws 9 W while operating. An internal timer stops the fast-charge phase after 12 hours and then switches to a trickle current. LED lamps show when each pair is charging correctly. The unit measures 18 cm by 7.5 cm by 5 cm and carries CE, UL and RoHS marks.

Mains-powered paired charging limits

The charger only works from a 120 V AC outlet and cannot be powered from USB or a vehicle socket. It charges cells in pairs, so an odd number of batteries will leave one slot inactive. Output current is fixed at 200 mA for AA and 80 mA for AAA sizes; there is no manual current adjustment or support for other chemistries. The 12-hour timer is not user-configurable, and the device has no discharge or refresh function.

900 mAh AAA capacity and cycle life

Each supplied AAA cell delivers 900 mAh at 1.2 V and is rated for up to 1000 recharge cycles with no memory effect. The set suits low-to-moderate drain devices such as remote controls, clocks or wireless keyboards, but will deplete quickly in high-drain gear like camera flashes or toys. The charger’s trickle mode helps maintain cells after the main charge, yet capacity will still fade gradually over hundreds of cycles.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 8-bay charger with eight AAA 900 mAh cells or buy the charger alone?

The bundle includes the V868 charger plus eight AAA NiMH batteries rated at 900 mAh each, so you can start charging immediately without purchasing cells separately.

What does the 900 mAh rating mean when I use these AAA batteries in a device?

Each AAA cell delivers 1.2 V and 900 mAh capacity, providing reliable runtime for low-drain devices such as remote controls, clocks, or wireless keyboards.

How does the charger’s 120 V AC input and 2.8 V DC output affect charging speed for AA versus AAA cells?

The unit draws 9 W from 120 V AC 60 Hz and supplies 200 mA to AA or 80 mA to AAA batteries, automatically switching to trickle charge after the 12-hour timer cycle.
