4-pack of 3.5V NiMH battery replacements

This pack contains four DUSLAN X-382 nickel-metal-hydride cells rated at 3.5 volts and 1000mAh each. They are built as direct replacements for the Heine X-382 battery used in clinical instruments. The 4-pack format lets a practice keep spares on hand for continuous use.

Suits clinics using Heine Beta 200

These cells fit Heine Beta 200 and Beta 200S ophthalmoscope handles and the matching short fibre-optic laryngoscope handle. They are not for devices that require a different voltage, a different chemistry or a different physical format. Buyers who need a higher capacity or a non-NiMH alternative should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will these X-382 cells fit inside a Heine Beta 200 handle?

Yes, the X-382 is built as a direct replacement for Heine Beta 200 and Beta 200s handles, so the pack slides into the battery compartment without modification.

What is the correct way to seat the pack in the handle, and what step do people skip?

Slide the pack in with the positive end toward the lamp, then twist the handle cap until it clicks; the step most often missed is fully tightening the cap, which completes the electrical circuit.
