DWL200 Torpedo Digital Level
The DWL200 is a 7-inch electronic torpedo level with a resolution of 0.1° at level and plumb. It combines a digital protractor, angle gauge and bevel gauge in one rugged ABS body with an aluminium base. Strong built-in magnets secure the tool to ferrous surfaces such as saw blades, fences or pipework for hands-free measurement.
Suited for trades needing fast angle checks
Electricians, carpenters and metalworkers who need to set or verify angles between two surfaces will benefit from the Alternate Zero function and auto-inverting display. A buzzer sounds at 0° and any preset angle, while a hold button freezes the reading. Builders who require a longer 24-inch level or waterproof housing for wet-site work should look at other models in the range.
Resolution and range decide fit
The sensor delivers ±0.1° at 0° and 90° and ±0.2° from 1° to 89°, with a selectable display in degrees, percent slope, mm/M or In/Ft. Measurement range covers 0° to ±90° across four quadrants for a full 360° span. If your workflow demands 0.05° resolution or IP-rated water resistance, this unit does not meet those specifications.

Questions about this item
How do I calibrate the DWL200 without a special fixture?
Place the level on a flat surface, run the on-board calibration routine, then rotate the unit and repeat; the sensor stores the factory reference with no external jig required.
What maintenance will the magnetic base and sensor need over time?
Wipe the aluminium base and magnets clean of metal swarf after each use, keep the ABS body dry, and re-run the calibration routine if readings drift beyond ±0.1°.
At what angle does the resolution change from 0.1° to 0.2° during continuous use?
The display shows ±0.1° at 0° and 90°, while any angle between 1° and 89° reads ±0.2°; this is the first precision limit you encounter under sustained measurement.
