Pressure Range & Accuracy
This Dwyer 477AV-4 digital manometer measures air pressure from 0 to 10.00 psi with a stated accuracy of ±0.5%. The handheld instrument includes batteries and presents readings on a 4-digit LED display. It is intended for technicians who need portable pressure verification in the field or on the bench.
Suitable Applications
The unit suits HVAC technicians, maintenance engineers and lab staff checking low-pressure air systems up to 10 psi. It is not suited for liquid media, high-pressure hydraulic circuits or applications requiring a NIST-traceable calibration certificate. Users needing data-logging or wireless output should consider other instruments.
Key Deciding Specification
The 0–10.00 psi measurement span with ±0.5% accuracy defines whether this manometer matches the test requirement. The 1/8 in and 3/16 in hose-barb connections determine direct compatibility with existing tubing. Verify that the pressure range and connection sizes align with the intended test points before purchase.

Questions about this item
What comes in the box and do I need to buy batteries or hose separately?
The manometer includes batteries and has 1/8 in and 3/16 in hose barb connections so standard tubing can be used directly.
How do I decide between the available versions or capacities for this model?
This Series 477AV unit covers a single 0 to 10.00 psi range with ±.5 % accuracy; no other ranges or capacities are offered for this part number.
What does the 10.00 psi headline figure mean when I am measuring air pressure in practice?
It is the full-scale limit; the instrument reads air pressure up to 10.00 psi and also shows air velocity up to 66 620 fpm on the 4 digit LED display.
