Thermal-Transfer Printing Constraints

Labels require a direct-thermal or thermal-transfer printer; inkjet or laser devices cannot use this media. Printed text will not smudge, smear or fade because no liquid ink is involved. The easy-peel split backing speeds application but the adhesive is permanent, so repositioning after placement is not practical. Cassette format locks you into the proprietary DYMO Rhino Pro ecosystem.

Compatibility Decides Fit
