Purpose-built identification

These DYMO 30857 adhesive name-badge labels supply 250 white badges per sheet, each measuring 2.25" x 4.00". They suit reception desks, event check-in stations and any workflow that needs fast, on-demand visitor identification.

Thermal printing operation

The labels are designed for direct-thermal LabelWriter printers, so no ink, toner or ribbons are required. Printing is essentially silent and produces negligible heat during normal badge runs, keeping the workspace quiet and cool.

Perforated sheet format

Each sheet delivers 250 individual badges with a permanent adhesive backing that stays fixed to clothing or lanyards throughout a shift. The layout lets operators print a single badge or a full batch without wasting material, and the white surface ensures crisp, legible text for quick visual verification.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 30857 badge labels into my LabelWriter printer, and what step causes misprints?

Insert the roll with the labels facing up and the perforation on the left, then close the cover until it clicks; skipping the click leaves the sensor misaligned and prints shift.

What part will need replacing after heavy use, and how often?

The printer’s thermal print head wears out after several hundred thousand badges; the labels themselves are single-use and replaced each time you load a new 250-count roll.

What limit appears first when printing large batches continuously?

The LabelWriter’s motor pauses to cool after extended runs, so sustained output is capped by the printer’s thermal throttle rather than the 250-badge roll capacity.
