1/2" Drive 23mm 12-Point Socket

This 1/2" drive metric socket fits 23mm fasteners and features a 12-point internal profile for multiple engagement angles. It is built for professional technicians and serious DIYers who need reliable access to larger metric hardware. The chrome finish resists corrosion in shop environments.

Capacity and headroom

The 23mm size handles large metric bolts and nuts commonly found on heavy-duty automotive and industrial applications. The 12-point design offers finer angular increments than six-point alternatives, useful in confined spaces. It is not suited for smaller fasteners or high-torque impact use without proper rating verification.

Upgrade path

This socket replaces worn or missing 23mm pieces from existing 1/2" drive sets. The knurled ring improves removal speed from ratchets compared to smooth-wall sockets. The jump is worth it when current sockets lack clear laser-etched markings or show rounding on the drive end.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/2" drive 23 mm socket fit onto my existing 1/2" drive ratchet and extensions?

Yes, the 1/2" square drive matches standard 1/2" ratchets, breaker bars and extensions so it connects directly without adapters.

How can I confirm the 12-point socket is engaging the fastener correctly after I put it on?

The 12-point geometry seats on the fastener flats; you will feel positive engagement and the laser-etched 23 mm marking stays visible to verify the size.

Does the socket come alone or with any accessories, and is a ratchet included?

Only the single 23 mm 12-point chrome socket is supplied; ratchets, extensions or storage rails must be purchased separately.
