Compatible NEC Projector Models

The DynamicLamps 50029924 replaces the original lamp in NEC VT480, VT480G, VT490, VT490G, VT491, VT491G, VT495, VT580, VT580G, VT590, VT590G, VT595, VT595G, VT695 and VT695G projectors. It is built for users who need a direct replacement to restore brightness and image quality. Installation follows the projector’s standard lamp-change procedure.

Economy Bulb Capacity and Headroom

The lamp ships with an economy bulb rated at 85 watts, providing sufficient output for typical classroom or meeting-room use. Brightness will gradually decline as the bulb ages, and colour uniformity may shift after extended hours. Replacement is required once the projector indicates end-of-life or when image quality no longer meets the user’s standard.

Upgrade From Original or Aged Lamps

This unit replaces the original NEC lamp or any compatible VT85LP module that has reached its rated lifespan. The jump is worth it when the existing lamp dims noticeably, triggers a replacement warning or fails to strike. It is not for users needing higher wattage, longer rated life or a different projector series.
