Purpose and fit

This 250 W halogen modelling lamp serves stage and studio lighting fixtures that accept a BA15D base. It suits photographers and lighting technicians who need a direct replacement for existing ESS-coded lamps in their equipment.

Decisive specification

The BA15D double-contact bayonet base is the single detail that determines compatibility; only fixtures designed for this exact base will accept the lamp. Voltage is fixed at 120 V, so the supply must match without a transformer.

Sustained operation

Rated average life is 2000 hours at the full 4000 lumen output and 2850 K colour temperature. The clear envelope and 69.0 mm maximum overall length allow consistent performance in enclosed modelling heads where heat builds up over long sessions.
