Manual Carbon-Steel Ball Valve
This manual two-way ball valve uses a straight, two-piece carbon-steel body with a chrome-plated carbon-steel ball. Full-port construction allows unrestricted flow for water-based media in industrial piping systems. The non-locking handle provides direct quarter-turn operation. It is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 3,000 psi and a steam pressure of 150 psi.
Full-Port Flow and Vacuum Capability
The full-port ball eliminates flow restriction through the valve bore, maintaining line capacity. A vacuum service rating of 29 in Hg extends suitability to evacuation and suction lines. Two-piece body construction permits in-line maintenance without removing the valve from the pipeline. Carbon-steel materials handle water service in general industrial environments.
Check Pressure, Media and Connection Compatibility
Verify that your system pressure does not exceed 3,000 psi for liquid service or 150 psi for steam. Confirm the media is compatible with carbon-steel wetted parts and that the 3/4-inch nominal size matches your existing piping. Ensure the straight body style fits the available installation space and orientation.

Questions about this item
How often should the carbon steel body and chrome-plated carbon steel ball be inspected for corrosion or wear?
Inspect the carbon steel body and chrome-plated carbon steel ball periodically for corrosion or wear, especially when used with water media at up to 3,000 psi operating pressure.
Which pressure limit is reached first during continuous operation — the 3,000 psi operating rating or the 150 psi steam rating?
The 150 psi steam rating is the lower limit and will be reached first if the valve sees steam service; otherwise the 3,000 psi operating pressure governs for water or non-steam media.
Does the valve generate noticeable noise or heat when left open all day at full pressure?
As a manual two-way ball valve with no moving actuators, it produces no operational noise or heat during continuous open use.
