35mm T1.4 PL Mount Prime Cine Lens

The DZOFILM Arles is a 35mm T1.4 prime cine lens built for ARRI PL mount cameras. It covers large format sensors including Vista Vision and provides a 60 degree angle of view. The lens uses manual focus only and is designed for high-end cinematography workflows.

95mm Front Diameter and 86mm Filter Thread

All focal lengths in the Arles series share a 95mm front diameter and an 86mm filter thread, though the 14mm focal length is not supported. The consistent gear pitch and focus distance simplify lens changes on set. Interchangeable PL and EF mounts are available separately for wider camera compatibility.

Suited for Large Format Manual Focus Productions

This lens suits cinematographers working with Vista Vision or full frame sensors who need a fast T1.4 aperture and unified front diameter across a set. It is not for shooters requiring autofocus, buyers needing the unsupported 14mm focal length, or productions that cannot accommodate manual focus operation.

Which Arles focal length should I choose for a 60° angle of view on a Vista Vision sensor?
