EF-Mount Tool Kit for Vespid, Catta Ace, Gnosis
This 7-piece kit lets owners of DZOFILM Vespid, Catta Ace or Gnosis lenses add an EF bayonet to each lens. It is built for cinematographers and rental houses that need to move the same glass between PL and EF camera bodies quickly. The package contains everything required for the conversion in a single box.
Replaces individual shim purchases
Previously you had to source bayonets, port caps and shim sets separately, then find a precision driver that fits the tiny screws. This kit becomes worthwhile the moment you own two or more compatible lenses and want to switch mounts without sending glass to a service centre. It is not for shooters who never change lens mounts or who use only native PL bodies.
Installation takes minutes
Align the bayonet, insert the appropriate shims for flange-depth correction, tighten the screws and snap on the port cap when the lens is off the camera. The most common issue is selecting the wrong shim thickness, which shows up as soft focus at infinity; re-check with a collimator or test chart before the shoot. The kit is not for lenses outside the three named series.

Questions about this item
What parts are included in the 7-pack EF-Mount Tool Kit?
The kit contains 7 EF bayonets, an EF port cap, a shims set for alignment, and a screwdriver for installation and adjustments.
How is the EF bayonet installed on a Vespid, Catta Ace, or Gnosis lens?
Use the included screwdriver to attach the EF bayonet; the critical step people miss is selecting the correct shim thickness from the set to achieve precise flange-depth alignment.
What maintenance will the shims set require over time?
Shims are metal spacers that do not wear out; keep the set organised and clean so the right thickness is always available for future mount changes or re-alignment.
