Rear magnetic filter kit for PL-mount zooms

The DZOFILM Koop Rear Filter Kit Artistic Set adds magnetic filters to the rear element of compatible Vespid and Catta Ace PL-mount zoom lenses. A magnetic adapter ring base secures the frame so filters can be swapped quickly. Nano multi-coating on each glass element resists dust, moisture and scratches. The kit includes a DIY magnetic frame, 1/4 Black Soft Glow filter, Brushed Blue streak filter, a bokeh filter set with shaped masks, shim set and wrench.

Cinematographers wanting in-camera creative effects

Suited for DPs and owner-operators who need anamorphic-style blue streaks, soft-glow halation or custom bokeh shapes such as stars, hearts and D logos without changing front-of-lens setups. Not for shooters whose lenses lack the PL-mount Vespid or Catta Ace interface, or who require neutral protection only. The magnetic system is specific to those rear-element dimensions and will not fit other mounts or lens series.

Magnetic frame, adapter ring and shaped bokeh masks

The bundled magnetic DIY frame holds the artistic filters and locks onto the supplied adapter ring base, turning filter changes into a one-handed operation. The bokeh filter set supplies five laser-cut masks that project distinct out-of-focus shapes, while the shim set lets technicians fine-tune flange clearance for each lens copy. The included wrench is the only tool needed to seat or remove the adapter ring, keeping the rear element sealed during lens swaps on set.

Questions about this item

Which DZOFILM zoom lenses accept the magnetic adapter ring in this Koop kit?

The magnetic adapter ring base fits DZOFILM Vespid and Catta Ace PL-mount zoom lenses, allowing the rear filters to mount directly onto the rear element.

Can the magnetic 1/4 Black Soft Glow and Brushed Blue streak filters stay fitted when I swap between Vespid and Catta Ace lenses?

Yes, both artistic filters use the same magnetic frame and adapter ring, so they transfer between any compatible Vespid or Catta Ace PL-mount zoom without re-shimming.

After installing the shim set and tightening the ring with the supplied wrench, what indicates a correct fit?

The magnetic frame seats flush against the rear element, the filters snap on and off cleanly with no play, and the nano multi-coating shows no gaps or vignetting in the image.
