12.1-inch WXGA replacement panel

This 12.1-inch laptop LCD screen delivers a 1280x800 WXGA resolution using a CCFL backlight and a 20-pin data connector. It is intended for owners of compatible notebooks who need a direct replacement for a damaged or dimming original panel. The unit ships new and tested to a Grade A+ standard.

Compatibility checklist before ordering

Verify that your current display measures 12.1 inches diagonally and runs at 1280x800 pixels. Confirm the backlight type is CCFL rather than LED and that the video cable uses a 20-pin connector in the same position. Cross-reference your laptop model against the supplier compatibility list or note whether the original screen is wide or standard format.

Behaviour under continuous use

The CCFL backlight will maintain its rated brightness for extended sessions but will gradually warm up, so adequate chassis ventilation helps sustain consistent output. As a passive display component it draws no power of its own; sustained load on the laptop GPU determines overall system thermals. The matte or glossy finish you receive depends on stock but does not affect long-term reliability.

Questions about this item

Does the screen ship with the inverter and cables, or only the panel?

The listing covers the 12.1 inch WXGA 1280x800 CCFL panel with a 20 pin connector; inverters, brackets and video cables are not included and must be sourced separately.

My old screen is glossy — will the replacement match that finish?

The finish is described as matte or glossy depending on real stock, so the exact surface cannot be guaranteed; verify the original part number if a specific finish is required.

What does the 1280x800 resolution mean for daily use on a 12.1 inch display?

At 12.1 inches the 1280x800 WXGA grid gives a readable workspace for office tasks and web browsing, though fine text and modern UI scaling may appear small compared with higher density panels.
