Replacement LCD for Acer Ferrari 3200

This 15.0 inch panel serves as a direct screen replacement for the Acer Ferrari 3200 laptop. It matches the original SXGA+ resolution of 1400*1050 pixels and uses a 30 pin data connector. The TFT active matrix display features a matte anti-glare finish and a single CCFL backlight unit.

Grade A+ condition with tested compatibility

Each unit is graded A+ and tested before shipping to ensure zero dead pixels and correct backlight operation. The package contains only the LCD panel itself; no inverter, bezel, hinges or mounting brackets are included. Buyers must reuse existing hardware from the original screen assembly during installation.

CCFL backlight and 30 pin connector constraints

The single CCFL backlight requires a working high-voltage inverter from the host laptop; LED-equipped models cannot use this panel. The 30 pin connector layout must match the original cable exactly, including pin pitch and orientation. Systems needing a different pin count, a wider aspect ratio, or a higher native resolution are not compatible with this part.

Questions about this item

How often will the CCFL backlight need replacement on this 15.0 inch panel?

The single CCFL backlight is rated for typical panel life; replacement is only needed if brightness fades or the tube fails after extended daily use.

What limit appears first when the screen runs continuously at 1400*1050 resolution?

The CCFL backlight generates the most heat under sustained operation, so thermal aging of the tube and inverter becomes the practical limit before the TFT matrix itself.

How much heat and noise does the 30-pin CCFL panel produce during all-day use?

The single CCFL tube and its inverter emit low audible hum and moderate warmth; the matte anti-glare surface adds no active cooling noise.
