Compatible 15.4" WXGA replacement panel

This 15.4 inch WXGA panel matches the 1280 x 800 resolution and glossy finish of the original Novatech X15 screen. It uses a single CCFL backlight with a two‑pin lamp connector and a 30‑pin data cable interface. The display is supplied as a brand‑new A+ premium grade unit with a 24‑month warranty period.

CCFL backlight and connector limits

The single CCFL lamp requires an external inverter that is not included with the panel. Only the two‑pin lamp connector and 30‑pin data cable are supported; other pin counts or LED backlight types will not work. Buyers who need an integrated inverter or a different backlight technology cannot use this part.

Exact resolution and backlight match required

You must verify that the existing screen is 15.4 inches diagonal with 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution and a single CCFL backlight before ordering. The panel width is 13.1 inches and height is 8.2 inches. Installers who cannot confirm these three specifications should not purchase this accessory.

Questions about this item

Which 15.4" WXGA panel matches my Novatech X15?

Choose the 1280 x 800 glossy screen with a 30-pin data cable, 2-pin CCFL backlight, and 13.1" x 8.2" dimensions — it is listed as 100% OEM compatible for the X15.

What does the 1280 x 800 resolution mean in daily use?

The WXGA panel gives a 15.4" diagonal workspace at native 1280 x 800 pixels, so text and web pages appear at their intended size without scaling.

How does the 30-pin connector and CCFL backlight limit installation?

The screen needs a 30-pin video cable and a separate inverter for the single 2-pin CCFL lamp; both parts are not included and must come from the original laptop.
