Screen replacement

This 15.4 inch WXGA LCD panel serves as a direct replacement for a damaged or dim CCFL backlit screen. It matches the 1280 x 800 resolution and glossy finish of the original N154i2-L02 Rev.B1 part. The panel is supplied in brand new, A+ premium grade condition with a 24 month warranty.

Build integration

The display uses a 30 pin data connector and a 2 pin CCFL lamp interface, so the host laptop must provide the matching inverter and cable. Both inverter and data cable are not included and must be reused from the original assembly or sourced separately. Installation requires access to the lid bezel and hinge covers.

Capacity and headroom

The single CCFL backlight delivers the expected brightness for WXGA content at 1280 x 800 pixels across the 13.1 by 8.2 inch active area. It cannot support higher resolutions, LED backlight systems, or panels with different pin counts. Buyers needing a matte finish, LED backlight, or a different diagonal size must select another part.

Questions about this item

What happens if the single CCFL backlight ages under continuous use?

The single CCFL lamp will gradually lose brightness and may develop a pinkish tint before it fails completely.

How much heat does the CCFL inverter generate when the screen runs all day?

The inverter is not included, so heat output depends on the separate inverter you install.

Which cables and inverter must I already have to install this 30-pin panel?

You need a 30-pin data cable and a 2-pin CCFL inverter that match your laptop's connector layout.
