15.6-inch CCFL replacement panel

Repairers with CCFL-equipped 15.6-inch laptops

The panel suits technicians replacing a failed CCFL screen in a compatible Acer chassis or any machine that accepts the listed part numbers. Buyers whose laptop uses an LED backlight or a different pin-count connector should look elsewhere. The unit is not a conversion kit and will not work with LED-only systems. Compatibility must be verified against the original panel.

Straightforward swap for experienced installers

Installation requires opening the display assembly, disconnecting the 30-pin cable and the CCFL inverter lead, then fitting the new panel in the same brackets. Common issues include damaging the fragile CCFL bulb during handling or misaligning the connector pins. The screen carries a three-year or 900-day guarantee against defects. Anti-static precautions are recommended throughout.
