Direct replacement for Acer Aspire 5735Z

This 15.6-inch WXGA LCD panel is built as a direct replacement for the Acer Aspire 5735Z-323G16MN laptop. It matches the original 1366 x 768 resolution and 30-pin CCFL connector. The screen is new, fully tested and carries a 900-day warranty. Buyers needing an LED-backlit panel or a different connector type should look elsewhere.

Upgrades from a cracked or dim CCFL display

The panel replaces a broken, flickering or yellowing CCFL screen in the same chassis. The jump is worth it when the existing backlight has failed or the glass is damaged. It restores the factory 1366 x 768 image without adapter cables. Users who want higher resolution, LED backlighting or a touch layer cannot use this part.

Limited to CCFL 30-pin interface and WXGA resolution

The 30-pin CCFL socket and single-bulb backlight define the practical limits of this screen. It cannot connect to LED-only motherboards or 40-pin harnesses. The fixed 1366 x 768 pixel grid prevents any scaling to higher densities. Installers must verify the exact part number match before fitting.

Questions about this item

What are the exact width and height of the 15.6-inch panel so I can confirm it fits my Acer Aspire 5735Z lid?

The panel measures 13.6 inches wide by 7.6 inches high, matching the 15.6-inch form factor used in the Aspire 5735Z series.

Does the 30-pin CCFL connector plug straight into the motherboard, or do I need an inverter cable?

The screen uses a 30-pin CCFL socket that connects directly to the laptop's video cable; the separate CCFL bulb requires the existing inverter board and cable to power the backlight.

How long is the CCFL bulb rated to last before it dims and needs replacing?

The manufacturer backs the panel with a 900-day warranty, indicating the CCFL backlight is expected to maintain brightness for at least that period under normal use.
