15.6-inch CCFL replacement panel

This 15.6-inch WXGA LCD is built as a direct replacement for the Packard Bell EasyNote TJ65-AU-205NL. It matches the original 1366 x 768 resolution and uses a single-bulb CCFL backlight rather than LED technology. The panel arrives new and fully tested with a Grade A+ rating.

30-pin CCFL socket and compatibility list

The screen connects through a 30-pin CCFL socket and carries no LED conversion cable. A long list of compatible part numbers is provided, including LTN156AT01, LP156WH1-TLC1 and several N156B3 and CLAA156WA variants, so installers can verify fit before ordering.

CCFL backlight limits and laptop-only use

CCFL backlighting requires an inverter and ages differently from LED panels, so brightness uniformity may shift over time. The unit is designed for laptop installations only and is not suited for desktop monitor conversions or other form factors.

Questions about this item

How often will the CCFL backlight bulb need replacement on this 15.6-inch screen?

The single CCFL bulb is rated for typical laptop panel lifespans; expect gradual dimming after several years of daily use rather than a scheduled interval.

What limits continuous operation on the 1366 x 768 panel first?

CCFL backlight aging reduces brightness over time; the inverter board that drives the 30-pin CCFL socket is the next common failure point.

How much heat and noise does the CCFL inverter produce during all-day use?

The inverter runs warm but silent; no fan is present, so audible noise is negligible while the panel surface stays comfortably warm.
