Replacement screen for Acer Aspire 5735-6694

This 15.6-inch WXGA LCD panel replaces a damaged or dim display in the specified Acer laptop. It uses a CCFL backlight with a single bulb and connects via a 30-pin socket. The part is new, fully tested and carries a three-year guarantee.

CCFL backlight and 30-pin interface limits

The screen requires an inverter to drive the CCFL tube, so it will not work in laptops wired for LED backlights without a conversion cable. The 30-pin connector matches the listed compatible part numbers and cannot be adapted to 40-pin or other pinouts.

1366 by 768 resolution and compatible part coverage

The WXGA resolution handles everyday office work, web browsing and standard-definition video on the 15.6-inch panel. It is not suited for full HD content or applications that demand higher pixel density. The part covers the listed Acer model and cross-referenced part numbers from multiple manufacturers.

Questions about this item

Is the 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 CCFL panel the only version offered for the Acer Aspire 5735-6694?

Yes, this listing supplies a single 15.6-inch WXGA CCFL screen with a 30-pin connector that matches the Aspire 5735-6694.

Will the 1366 x 768 resolution and CCFL backlight work correctly once installed in the laptop?

The panel is fully tested and verified; its native 1366 x 768 resolution and single-bulb CCFL backlight are designed to operate exactly as the original display did.

Does the 30-pin CCFL socket limit the panel to CCFL-only laptops, or can it accept an LED conversion cable?

The connector is a 30-pin CCFL socket, so the screen is built for CCFL laptops only and is not compatible with LED conversion cables.
