15.6-inch WXGA+ CCFL Panel

This 15.6-inch WXGA+ CCFL LCD panel delivers a 1366 x 768 resolution for compatible HP 421 laptops. It uses a single CCFL backlight and connects via a 30-pin CCFL socket. The screen is a new Grade A+ unit that has been fully tested and carries a 900-day warranty.

For HP 421 owners needing a direct CCFL replacement

This panel suits users repairing an HP 421 laptop that originally shipped with a CCFL display and a 30-pin connector. It is not for machines that use LED backlighting or a different pin-count interface, nor for anyone seeking a higher-resolution or touch-enabled screen.

30-pin CCFL connector decides fit

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 30-pin CCFL video signal connector. Only laptops designed for this exact socket and a CCFL backlight will accept the panel without an adapter or inverter change.

Questions about this item

Is this 15.6-inch panel the right WXGA+ CCFL replacement for my HP 421?

Yes — the 30-pin CCFL socket and 1366 x 768 resolution match the HP 421 part numbers listed, including LTN156AT01 and LP156WH1-TLC1.

Will the 1366 x 768 resolution look sharp on a 15.6-inch display?

At 15.6 inches the 1366 x 768 pixel grid gives a standard HD pixel density that is crisp for office work and video playback.

Does the 30-pin CCFL connector limit brightness or colour compared with LED panels?

The single CCFL backlight and 30-pin interface deliver the original factory brightness and colour gamut for this HP 421 chassis; no conversion cable is needed.
