17-inch WXGA+ CCFL Replacement Screen

This 17-inch replacement panel delivers a 1440 by 900 WXGA+ resolution with a single CCFL backlight and a 30-pin data connector. It is intended for owners of compatible HP Compaq Presario A900 series laptops who need to replace a damaged or dim display. The finish ships as either matte or glossy depending on stock availability.

Verify Size Resolution Connector and Backlight

Before ordering, confirm that your current screen measures 17 inches diagonally and shows a native 1440 by 900 resolution. Check that the video cable uses a 30-pin connector and note its position on the panel. Ensure the backlight type is single CCFL rather than LED or dual CCFL, as an incorrect match will prevent installation.

Fits Compatible Laptop Lids and Inverter Cables

The panel mounts inside the existing laptop lid using the original screw points and connects to the system board via the 30-pin interface. It relies on the laptop's existing inverter cable to power the CCFL lamp. No additional adapters, drivers or power components are required beyond the original hardware already present in the device.
