Replacement LCD Panel 15.4" WXGA

This 15.4 inch WXGA LCD panel replaces damaged screens in compatible laptops. It delivers a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution with a glossy finish. The active matrix TFT technology uses a single CCFL backlight. It arrives in brand new A+ premium grade condition.

Capacity and Headroom 1280x800 CCFL

The 1280 x 800 resolution handles everyday office work and standard definition media playback comfortably. The single CCFL backlight provides adequate brightness for indoor use but runs out of headroom in brightly lit environments. Colour reproduction suits general productivity rather than colour-critical tasks. The glossy surface increases perceived contrast but adds glare under direct light.

Build Integration 30 Pin 2 Pin

Installation requires a 30 pin data cable connection and a 2 pin power lead for the backlight inverter. The inverter and data cable are not included and must be sourced separately or reused from the original assembly. The panel measures 13.1 inches wide by 8.2 inches high. Buyers must verify the exact connector layout and pin count against the original screen before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the 30-pin data cable from my old CCFL panel connect to this 15.4" WXGA replacement?

Yes, this screen uses a 30-pin data connector and a 2-pin CCFL backlight connector, matching the original 7093 interface.

How can I confirm the 1280x800 WXGA panel is operating correctly after installation?

Power on the laptop and verify the native 1280 x 800 resolution appears without scaling artefacts; the single CCFL lamp should illuminate evenly across the 15.4" glossy surface.

Does the box include the inverter and data cable, or must I reuse the originals?

Inverter and data cable are not included; you must reuse the existing cables from the original screen.
