8.9-inch 1024x600 Matte LCD Panel

This 8.9-inch replacement panel delivers a 1024x600 resolution with an LED backlight and a matte anti-glare finish. It uses a 40-pin data connector and is built to match the Acer LK.08905.002 part number. The unit is supplied new with a two-year warranty.

For 8.9-inch 40-pin laptop repairs only

This screen suits technicians replacing a damaged panel in a compatible 8.9-inch laptop that requires a 40-pin connection and 1024x600 native resolution. It will not fit devices needing a 14, 20, 30, 50 or 60-pin connector, a different resolution, a touchscreen layer, or a glossy finish.

40-pin connector and 1024x600 resolution

The single specification that decides compatibility is the 40-pin data connector paired with the 1024x600 pixel grid. Verify the original screen uses this exact pin count and physical resolution before ordering, as connector position and pin pitch must match precisely.

Questions about this item

Does the 8.9" 1024x600 panel ship with mounting brackets or cables, or must they be sourced separately?

Only the LCD panel with its 40-pin connector is supplied; brackets, bezels and any extra cables are not included and must be obtained separately.

The listing mentions Matte or Glossy finish depending on stock — how do I know which version I will receive?

The finish varies with real-time stock; contact the seller before ordering to confirm whether the current batch is Matte or Glossy.

Will the 1024x600 resolution display correctly on an Acer LK.08905.002 laptop without scaling issues?

Yes — the panel matches the native 1024x600 resolution and 40-pin interface specified for the LK.08905.002, so the image maps 1:1 with no scaling required.
