E-buy 8.9" 1024x600 LED 40-pin Matte LK.08905.004 monitor accessory

8.9" 1024x600 LED replacement panel

This 8.9 inch LED-backlit panel offers a 1024 by 600 resolution with a matte finish. It is designed as a direct replacement for compatible laptops, notably the Acer part LK.08905.004. The unit is supplied brand new and carries a two-year warranty. Buyers needing a standard-definition screen for a small form-factor device will find this matches the original specifications.

40-pin connector and resolution constraints

The screen uses a 40-pin data connector; other pin counts such as 14, 20, 30, 50 or 60 will not fit. The fixed resolution of 1024 by 600 cannot be scaled to higher definitions, so the host system must support this exact pixel grid. LED backlighting is the only supported illumination type; CCFL variants are electrically incompatible. The matte surface reduces glare but the finish may vary between matte and glossy depending on stock.

Verify laptop model, size and pin layout

Before ordering, confirm your laptop model against the compatible list and check whether the original screen is a wide or standard aspect. Measure the diagonal to ensure it is exactly 8.9 inches and verify the native resolution is 1024 by 600. Inspect the existing cable to confirm a 40-pin connector and note the connector position on the panel. Finally, ensure the original backlight is LED rather than CCFL.
