Replacement screen for Acer Aspire ZG5 AOA 150

This 8.9 inch LED panel is built as a direct replacement for the Acer Aspire ZG5 AOA 150. It matches the original 1366 x 768 WXGA HD resolution and 40 pin connector. The screen is supplied new from the manufacturer with a 24 month warranty. Buyers needing a different size, resolution or connector type should look elsewhere.

No inverter or data cable included

The package contains only the LCD panel itself. An inverter and data cable are not supplied so you must reuse the original parts or source them separately. The surface finish may be glossy or matte depending on stock availability. Installers who do not have the matching cables will not be able to complete the repair.

8.9 inch WXGA HD capacity and limits

The 1366 x 768 pixel grid covers everyday office work and web browsing on the compact 8.9 inch diagonal. It does not support higher resolutions such as Full HD or touch input. The 40 pin interface limits use to compatible Acer models only. Users requiring more screen area or a different aspect ratio cannot use this panel.

Questions about this item

Will the 40-pin connector or LED backlight need replacement during the 24-month period?

The LED backlight and 40-pin connector are integrated into the panel; no separate inverter or cable is included, so the whole screen would be swapped if either fails.

What limits continuous use on this 8.9-inch WXGA panel?

The glossy or matte surface finish varies by stock, and the 1366×768 resolution is fixed, so extended work sessions are constrained by the panel’s native pixel density and coating.

How much heat or power does the 8.9-inch LED display generate when running all day?

LED backlighting draws minimal power and produces little heat compared with older CCFL screens, making it suitable for prolonged daily operation.
