Replacement screen for 15.4 inch laptops

This 15.4 inch WXGA panel replaces a damaged or dim CCFL display in compatible notebooks. It delivers a 1280 x 800 resolution with a glossy finish and active matrix TFT technology. The screen is brand new and rated A+ premium grade for quality assurance.

Installation requires matching cable

The panel uses a 30 pin data cable connector and a 2 pin backlight lamp connector for the single CCFL tube. Verify both connector types on your existing screen before fitting, as the inverter and data cable are not included in the package. Mismatched pin counts are the most common cause of fitment failure.

Check your current screen specifications first

Confirm the diagonal measurement is 15.4 inches crossways and the resolution is exactly 1280 x 800 WXGA. Ensure the backlight type is CCFL with a single lamp and the finish is glossy. The physical width and height measure 13.1 by 8.2 inches, so compare these dimensions against the original panel.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the new 15.4" WXGA panel is displaying correctly after installation?

Power on the laptop and confirm the native 1280 x 800 resolution appears without scaling artefacts; check for uniform CCFL backlight brightness across the 13.1" x 8.2" active area and ensure no dead pixels are visible.

What components are included with the screen and which parts must be sourced separately?

The package contains the 15.4" glossy LCD panel with a 30-pin data connector and 2-pin CCFL lamp cable only; the inverter board and any mounting brackets are not included and must be reused from the original assembly or purchased separately.

Which specification details must match my current display to select the correct replacement version?

Match the 15.4" diagonal size, 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution, single-lamp CCFL backlight with 2-pin connector, 30-pin data cable interface and glossy finish to guarantee 100% OEM compatibility.
