Screen compatibility

This 15.4-inch WXGA glossy panel is a direct replacement for compatible laptops using a CCFL backlight. It delivers a 1280 x 800 resolution with an active-matrix TFT design and a 30-pin data connector. The screen measures 13.1 by 8.2 inches across the viewable area and carries a 24-month warranty.

Repair suitability

The part suits technicians and owners replacing a damaged or dim CCFL display on a matching chassis. Buyers who need an LED-backlit panel or a different pin layout should look elsewhere. The inverter and data cable are not included, so existing cables must be reused or sourced separately.

Pre-install checks

Verify that the original screen uses a single CCFL lamp with a 2-pin power connector and a 30-pin data cable. Confirm the exact diagonal size, resolution, and glossy finish match the failed unit. The supplier guarantees 100 percent OEM compatibility, though the specific brand and part number may vary with availability.

Questions about this item

Will this 15.4-inch WXGA panel fit without a separate inverter and 30-pin data cable?

The screen arrives without an inverter or data cable; you must reuse the original 30-pin cable and CCFL inverter from the laptop.

Can I pair this glossy CCFL screen with an older matte panel in a dual-display repair?

Yes, the 1280 x 800 resolution and CCFL backlight match the original spec, so the laptop drives both without scaling issues.

How do I confirm the replacement screen is operating correctly after installation?

Power on the laptop; the display should show a clean 1280 x 800 image with even CCFL brightness and no dead pixels.
