Replacement Screen for 15.4 Inch WXGA Panels

This 15.4 inch glossy LCD panel delivers a 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution using a single CCFL backlight and active matrix TFT technology. It is built as a 100 percent OEM compatible spare part for laptops that originally shipped with the same screen specifications. The panel arrives in brand new A+ premium grade condition.

Included Components and What They Mean

The screen ships without an inverter or a 30 pin data cable, so you must reuse the original cables from the laptop or source them separately. A 2 pin CCFL lamp connector is present on the panel itself. The 24 month warranty covers the replacement panel only.

Compatibility Checks Before Ordering

Verify that your current screen measures 15.4 inches diagonally with a 1280 x 800 resolution and a glossy finish. Confirm the backlight uses a single CCFL tube with a 2 pin lamp connector and that the data interface requires a 30 pin cable. Match the 13.1 by 8.2 inch width and height to the mounting points in your chassis.

Questions about this item

Will the CCFL backlight need replacement after long daily use?

The screen ships with a single CCFL lamp rated for 24 months or 730 days of coverage, and the lamp is not user-replaceable without an inverter kit.

What limits continuous operation on this 15.4" WXGA panel?

The 1280 x 800 resolution and 30-pin data cable set the bandwidth ceiling, while the single CCFL lamp defines the brightness ceiling under sustained load.

How much heat and noise does the CCFL lamp produce when the screen runs all day?

A single CCFL backlight runs cooler and quieter than dual-lamp designs, and the glossy finish does not add active cooling or fan noise.
