Exact replacement part

This 15.4 inch WXGA LCD panel is a direct component for repairing a compatible laptop display. It matches the original 1280 x 800 resolution and glossy finish. The single CCFL backlight uses a two pin connector. Builders or technicians restoring a damaged screen use this A+ premium grade unit.

Installation requirements

The panel connects via a 30 pin data cable that must match the host system. No inverter or data cable is included in the shipment so existing cables must be reused or sourced separately. The 13.1 by 8.2 inch dimensions must align with the laptop lid chassis. Verify the exact brand and part number against the original screen before fitting.

Power and thermal profile

A single CCFL lamp draws modest power from the laptop inverter board. The lamp generates low heat during normal operation and requires no active cooling. Power consumption scales with brightness settings controlled by the system firmware. The panel carries a 24 month warranty period covering defects.

Questions about this item

Will the single CCFL backlight dim noticeably after long daily sessions?

The panel uses one CCFL lamp with a 2-pin connector; brightness will gradually decline over time as the lamp ages.

Does the glossy finish make the panel run hotter or draw more power than a matte equivalent?

Surface coating does not change power draw; the 30-pin data cable carries the same signal current regardless of finish.

Which cables and inverter must I already have to install this 15.4" WXGA screen?

You need a compatible inverter and a 30-pin data cable; neither is included with the panel.
