Festive Pet Ornament

This plush Basset Hound doghouse ornament brings a pet theme to seasonal decorating. It is designed for anyone who wants a small decorative item that represents a favourite breed during the holidays and beyond. The piece works equally well as a tree decoration or a magnetic display on metal surfaces. It suits gift-givers looking for a lightweight, breed-specific keepsake.

Magnetic Backing Check

Verify that the intended display surface will hold a magnet before ordering. The ornament relies on a magnetic back for fridge or metal-board placement, so non-magnetic stainless steel, wood or plastic surfaces will not work. For Christmas tree use, ensure a branch can support the ornament's weight without bending. No hanging loop or adhesive alternative is mentioned in the specifications.

Personalisable Name Plate

A name plate hangs over the dog figure and accepts permanent marker ink for customisation. This feature lets the buyer add a pet name, a year or a short message directly on the ornament. The personalisation turns a generic decoration into a specific memento without requiring engraving tools or extra accessories. No pens or markers are included in the package.

Questions about this item

Does the Basset Hound Doghouse Ornament include a marker for personalizing the name plate, or do I need to buy one separately?

The ornament comes with a magnetic back for fridge display and a name plate that can be personalized, but a marker such as a Sharpie is not included and must be purchased separately.

The supplier title lists 35355-2; is that a different version from the 35355 model number?

The number 35355 identifies the product; the "-2" suffix in the supplier title is an internal catalogue reference and does not indicate a separate version or capacity option for this ornament.

How well does the magnetic back hold the ornament on a typical refrigerator door?

The magnetic back is designed to hold the lightweight plush ornament securely on a standard steel refrigerator surface after the holiday season.
