Initial T Stoneware Coaster

The E & S Imports Initial T coaster is a new stoneware disc made to sit in a vehicle cup holder. It measures 2.5 inches across and is sized for the holders found in most cars, vans, boats, SUVs and trucks. The plushed and stuffed classification places it among soft-goods accessories rather than electronic hardware.

Absorbent Stoneware Construction

Durable stoneware construction allows the coaster to absorb condensation continuously from cold drinks. A finger slot on the side lets you lift the disc out of the holder without prying or spilling. The material and slot work together to keep the cup holder dry and the coaster easy to handle.

Simple Drop-In Placement

Installation consists of dropping the coaster into the cup holder; no tools or adhesives are required. The 2.5 inch diameter matches standard openings, so fitment issues are rare. Problems usually arise only when a vehicle uses a non-standard or unusually deep holder that prevents the finger slot from clearing the rim.

Questions about this item

Does the stoneware coaster need any cleaning or replacement over time?

The stoneware continuously absorbs condensation, so occasional washing keeps it working; no scheduled replacement is required.

What stops it from working during a long drive?

Saturation is the limit — once the stoneware holds all the moisture it can, condensation will remain on the cup until the coaster dries out.

Does it get hot, noisy or draw power when left in the cup holder all day?

It is passive stoneware with no electronics, so it produces no heat, no noise and uses no power.
