Compact 65% layout

The E-YOOSO XG8540 is a 65 percent mechanical keyboard with 68 keys including dedicated arrows. It uses linear red switches for smooth, quiet keystrokes suited to both gaming and office work. A detachable USB-C cable makes it easy to carry between setups.

Hot-swappable switch sockets

The board ships with linear switches but lets you swap them without soldering, so you can change the feel without buying a new keyboard. Full 100 percent N-key rollover removes ghosting during rapid combos or heavy shortcut chords. RGB backlighting offers 16.8 million colours across 20 adjustable effects.

Wired USB connectivity

The keyboard draws power and data over a single USB cable and works with Windows, macOS, PS5 and Xbox. It has no wireless radio, no Bluetooth and no internal battery, so latency stays consistent. Buyers who want wireless freedom or a numpad will need a different form factor.

Questions about this item

What desk space does the 65% layout with 68 keys require?

The compact 65% form factor saves desk room for mouse movement while keeping arrow keys and essential functions within the 68-key layout.

How do I install the keyboard and what step is often missed?

Plug the detachable USB-C cable into the keyboard and a USB port; the step users miss is seating the cable firmly at both ends for a stable wired connection.

What maintenance will the hot-swappable linear switches need later?

Switches can be pulled and replaced without soldering, so you can swap individual linear switches or clean dust from the plate over time.
