Questions about this item

How do I install the 63XL cartridges in my HP DeskJet 1112 and what step do people often miss?

Remove the orange protective tape from the contacts, insert each cartridge into its colour-coded slot until it clicks, then run the printer alignment routine before printing.

What maintenance will the 63XL cartridges need after extended storage?

If the printer sits idle for weeks, run the built-in printhead cleaning cycle to clear dried ink from the nozzles before resuming regular jobs.

Which limit appears first during a long print run with the 63XL black cartridge?

The black 63XL is rated for 750 pages at 5 % coverage, so ink depletion will occur before any mechanical wear on the cartridge.
