Eagle Eyes G2 Chrome Taillight Pair

The Eagle Eyes G2 Chrome taillight pair is a direct-fit replacement for Chevrolet Astro and GMC Safari vans. Each unit combines a polycarbonate lens with an ABS housing and carries SAE DOT compliance. The set is sold as a pair and weighs 4.85 lbs.

Plug-and-Play Upgrade for Classic Van Owners

This pair suits owners who want a bolt-on lighting refresh without cutting or splicing factory wiring. The UV-coated finish helps protect the lenses from sun damage over time. Buyers needing LED internals, smoked lenses or a single-side replacement should look elsewhere.

SAE DOT Compliant Polycarbonate Lens

The lenses are made from durable polycarbonate and meet SAE DOT standards for on-road use. An integrated UV coating shields the surface from yellowing and haze. No other optical technology or certification is specified for this assembly.

Questions about this item

Does the SAE DOT compliance on these taillights cover all required lighting functions for road use?

The set carries SAE DOT compliance, meaning the lenses meet federal standards for tail, stop and turn functions without additional certification.

What mounting hardware is included so the chrome housings bolt to the factory locations on an Astro or Safari?

Each housing uses the original bolt pattern; the package supplies the complete assemblies ready to fasten to the existing body studs with no extra brackets.

How does the plug-n-play harness connect to the van's wiring, and which step do installers most often miss?

The factory-style connector snaps directly into the vehicle socket; the step most often missed is fully seating the locking tab until it clicks to prevent moisture ingress.
