Eagle Tool ESP75018 Flexible Drill Bit

This Eagle Tool ESP75018 flexible drill bit measures 18 inches overall with a 3/4 inch diameter. The powder-coated HAWA steel construction includes a screw point for self-feeding through wood. A 1/4 inch hex shank with three flats locks securely into quick-change chucks.

Electricians and low-voltage installers pulling

The 16 inch maximum drilling depth suits typical wall cavities and floor joists. Users needing longer reach or larger diameter holes should consider other options. The straight-flute design is not suited for aggressive metal drilling or masonry work.

Powder coating and screw point improve chip ejection

The factory powder coating reduces friction and resists corrosion during extended use. The screw point pulls the bit forward automatically, reducing operator fatigue when drilling multiple holes. No additional accessories or software are included with this bit.

Questions about this item

What size drill chuck is needed for the 1/4 in hex shank on this bit?

The 1/4 in hex shank fits standard 3/8 in or 1/2 in drill chucks that accept hex shanks; tighten securely on the three flats.

Can this 18 in bit reach through a 2 x 4 wall plate and still have clearance for the drill?

With a 16 in maximum drilling depth and 18 in overall length, it clears a standard 2 x 4 plate and leaves room for the drill body.

How do I confirm the screw point is pulling the bit through cleanly?

The screw point should self-feed with light pressure; steady rotation and smooth chip ejection show it is working as intended.
