The Earthquake Sound RK-6IW rough-in kit prepares wall cavities for 6 in-wall speaker models including the EWS600 and Imãge-6X. It is supplied as a pair and is intended for professional custom installers and DIY builders running speaker cable before drywall goes up.

Replaces ad-hoc framing blocks

Without a dedicated bracket, installers cut wood scraps or rely on guesswork to locate speaker openings. This kit standardises the cut-out position, aligns with Turn-N-Lock mounting, and meets building-code requirements for fire-retardant depth when the matching back box is added.

Mounts with aluminium dog ears
