First-stage feeding spoons

Six 12.7 cm silicone spoons are made for babies six months and older who are learning to feed themselves. The soft tip is gentle on gums and developing teeth while the lightweight handle fits small hands. BPA-free, phthalate-free and plastic-free material meets food-grade standards.

Daily use impact

The spoons withstand hot and cold temperatures without damage, so they move from freezer to boiling water without warping. Dishwasher-safe construction means cleanup takes seconds after each meal. No fillers or crevices trap food, reducing the risk of residue build-up.

Build and handling

Each spoon weighs approximately .125 kg and measures 12.7 by 2.5 by 1.5 cm, giving a slim profile that slides easily into a nappy bag. The 1.7 cm package depth keeps storage compact in kitchen drawers. Brown silicone finish resists staining from colourful purees.

Questions about this item

When will the silicone tips need replacing?

The 100% food-grade silicone tips resist heat and cold without fillers, so they last through daily Stage 1 feeding without a set replacement interval.

What limits how many spoons I can sterilise at once?

Each spoon measures 12.7 cm long and 2.5 cm wide, so the size of your pot or dishwasher rack sets the practical batch limit.

Do the handles get too hot to hold after boiling?

The 0.98-inch wide silicone handles stay cool enough to grip straight from boiling water or the dishwasher.
