Eaton 6-65-2 Contact Kit for Series Freedom

The Eaton 6-65-2 is a three-pole replacement contact kit designed for Series Freedom NEMA Size 1 starters. It supplies movable contacts, springs and stationary contacts in a single package. Electrical maintenance teams use it to restore reliable switching performance in existing motor control equipment.

Straightforward installation with correct torque

The kit fits directly into compatible Series Freedom Size 1 units without modification. Technicians must torque the terminal connections to the manufacturer’s specified value to prevent overheating. Installers who skip the spring replacement or reuse worn hardware often encounter premature contact wear or nuisance tripping. Verifying the starter series and NEMA size before ordering avoids fitment errors.
