Eaton Arrow Hart 100A IP69K Receptacle

Installation checks before ordering

Verify your supply provides three-phase 250V service and that conductors fall within the #4 to 1/0 AWG range for power and #12 to #16 AWG for pilot wires. Confirm the AHBB100 back box style matches your existing mounting footprint and that the 10 HP motor rating aligns with the connected load.

Build quality and daily use

A spring-loaded self-closing cap with silicone gasket seals the contacts when unmated, meeting both IP67 and IP69K standards for repeated wash-downs. Nickel-plated brass contacts resist corrosion while the nylon housing withstands impact and chemical exposure in demanding plant environments.

What does the 3 250 V rating mean when the receptacle is installed in a three-phase system?

It certifies the device for 250 V line-to-line on a three-phase supply, with IP69K and IP67 ingress protection maintained when the cap is closed or a plug is fully engaged.
