8-Pole Automotive Fuse Block

This Eaton Bussmann 15600-08-20 fuse block accepts eight automotive blade fuses up to 30 A at 32 V DC. The open-design thermoplastic body mounts with bolts and measures 3.09 in long by 3.37 in wide by .8 in high. Input terminals accept 6 to 4 AWG wire while output terminals take 16 to 12 AWG using quick-connect terminals. The unit carries a UL 94VO flammability rating.

Installers Needing Eight Protected Circuits

The block suits automotive or marine wiring jobs that require eight fused circuits fed from a single heavy-gauge feed. It is not for installers who need rejection-style fuse sockets, visual indication of a blown fuse, or AC voltage ratings beyond 32 V DC. Builders requiring more than eight poles or a higher ampere rating per pole should select a different distribution block.

30 A Per Pole at 32 V DC

Each of the eight poles is rated for a maximum continuous current of 30 A at 32 V DC, which is the decisive electrical limit for this block. The compatible fuse series include 257, AF, ATC and 15600 types measuring 3/4 in by 3/4 in by 13/64 in. Exceeding 30 A on any pole or applying a higher system voltage will void the UL rating and risk overheating.
