- CE, cRUus, CSA and UL marks confirm broad compliance
- White 8-pin octal base fits D3-series relays directly
DIN-rail relay socket for D3 series
This Eaton D3PA2 socket mounts on standard DIN rail and accepts 8-pin round relays from the D3 series. It provides a finger-safe, screw-clamp termination for control-panel wiring. The white housing is CE marked, cRUus, CSA certified, RoHS compliant and UL listed.
Screw-clamp terminals and finger-safe housing
Screw-clamp connections secure each conductor without solder or crimp tools, speeding installation and maintenance. The finger-safe design reduces accidental contact with live parts during commissioning or troubleshooting. No status indicator is fitted, so visual confirmation requires external means.
15 A contact rating with dual AC voltage specs
Rated 10 A at 300 V AC and 15 A at 600 V AC, the socket handles typical industrial control loads such as motor starters, lighting contactors and heater circuits. The 8-pin octal layout limits use to DPDT relays; applications needing more poles or higher current require a different socket family.

Questions about this item
Will the screw-clamp terminals on the 8-pin DIN rail socket need periodic retightening?
The screw-clamp terminals provide a secure connection for solid or stranded wire and are designed to maintain contact without routine retightening under normal vibration.
What is the continuous current limit before the 15 A rated contacts become the bottleneck?
The socket is rated for 15 A at 600 V AC and 10 A at 300 V AC, so the contact rating itself is the first limit reached under sustained load.
Does the white D3PA2 socket generate noticeable heat when carrying 15 A all day?
At the full 15 A rating the socket runs warm but stays within its UL and CSA temperature limits, and the open DIN rail mounting allows ample airflow for continuous operation.
