The Eaton E50DT3 is a push roller plunger limit switch head with top actuator location. It is built for industrial electrical control and automation systems that require a compact, sealed actuator. The head mounts on a compatible switch body to detect linear position or end-of-travel in machinery.

Replaces worn or damaged E50 series heads

This head directly replaces an existing E50 series push roller plunger head when the actuator is bent, the roller is flat-spotted or the seals have degraded. The jump is worth it when the original head no longer trips reliably at the specified operating travel of .04 in or when the NEMA 4X and IP67 sealing has been compromised by coolant or wash-down exposure.

10 A at 600 V AC with IP67 sealing

The contact rating of 10 A at 600 V AC handles standard control-circuit loads such as relay coils, solenoid valves and PLC inputs. Operating force of 2.2 N and total travel of .28 in give enough over-travel for misalignment without bottoming out.
