The Eaton HotSwap MBP is a 1.92 kVA rack-mountable power distribution unit built for server rooms and network closets. It provides six NEMA 5-20R outlets from a single NEMA 5-20P input. The 2U form factor fits standard 19-inch racks. It targets administrators who need flexible power distribution with maintenance bypass capability.

Fits 19-inch racks with 2U space

The unit mounts in a standard 19-inch rack using 2U of vertical space. It accepts input voltages of 100 V AC, 104 V AC, 110 V AC, 120 V AC, or 127 V AC and delivers the same voltages to connected equipment. The NEMA 5-20P plug requires a compatible 20 A branch circuit. It frees up UPS outlets by consolidating six loads into one upstream connection. Builders without a 20 A circuit or NEMA 5-20R compatibility cannot use this PDU.

HotSwap Maintenance Bypass included

The integrated HotSwap Maintenance Bypass enables service continuity during UPS maintenance or battery replacement. It allows the UPS to be removed or serviced without powering down connected loads. This feature changes operational workflows by eliminating scheduled downtime for battery swaps. No additional software or accessories are bundled beyond the bypass hardware itself.
