Pilot Light Lens for Industrial Controls

The Eaton HT8BA is a 30 mm amber pilot light lens made of plastic with a Fresnel design. It is built for use with Pres-Test lights and illuminated push buttons in industrial electrical control panels and automation systems.

Replaces Worn or Damaged Indicator Lenses

This lens fits existing 30 mm Pres-Test and illuminated push button assemblies where the original lens has cracked, faded or lost clarity. The upgrade is worth it when a panel needs restored visibility and a maintained seal against dust and water ingress.

Suits Maintenance Teams Keeping Panels Rated

It suits electricians and maintenance crews who need a direct replacement that preserves NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12, 13 and IP66 ratings with CSA and UL listing. Buyers who need a different colour, a non-Fresnel lens or a size other than 30 mm should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What size cut-out does the 30 mm amber lens require for mounting?

The lens is designed for a standard 30 mm panel cut-out used with Pres-Test lights and illuminated push buttons.

How do you install the Fresnel lens onto the pilot light base, and what step is often missed?

Snap the plastic lens onto the compatible Pres-Test or illuminated push-button base; the step often missed is verifying the NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12, 13 and IP66 seals seat fully.

When should the amber pilot light lens be replaced during maintenance?

Replace the lens if the Fresnel surface cracks, yellows beyond the original amber colour, or the NEMA/IP66 sealing integrity is compromised.
