A miniature LED bulb with a BA9s base providing white light at 24 volts for push-button applications
The Eaton HT8LEDWF3 is a 24 V miniature LED bulb with a T3-1/4 shape and a BA9s single-contact bayonet base. It produces 6 lumens of white light and is intended for use in push-button assemblies and indicator panels within industrial electrical control systems.
This LED bulb replaces legacy incandescent miniature lamps in 24 V control circuits. The switch is worthwhile when longer service life, lower heat output and reduced power draw are required for panel-mounted push buttons and status lights.
Installation is a straightforward push-and-twist action into a standard BA9s socket. The main issue arises if the supply voltage differs from 24 V or if the socket type is mismatched, which prevents proper electrical contact and mechanical retention.

The bulb uses a Single Contact Bayonet (BA9s) base that twists into the matching socket.
Align the bayonet pins with the socket slots, push in, and twist until it locks; the step often missed is confirming the twist is fully seated so the contacts engage.
Replace the bulb when light output drops noticeably or the white colour shifts, as the LED is not user-serviceable and the whole unit is swapped.
