Network Management Card

The Eaton TLNETCARD installs into a SmartSlot on compatible SmartPro or SmartOnline UPS units to add network-based monitoring and control. It is intended for administrators who need remote visibility of power conditions in server rooms, data centres or network closets. The card enables management through SNMP, web browser, Modbus TCP, SSH or Telnet without requiring the Java Runtime Environment. Buyers whose UPS lacks a SmartSlot accessory slot cannot use this card.

Thermals and Power Draw

The accessory draws minimal power from the UPS host slot and adds no active cooling of its own. Operation is silent because there are no fans or moving parts on the card. Heat contribution inside the UPS enclosure is negligible during normal use. No separate power supply or external cabling is required beyond the network connection.

Build and Connectivity

The module fits the SmartSlot form factor and presents two RJ-45 Fast Ethernet ports for redundant or segmented network links. Its web interface supports tiered user permissions, email or SNMP trap alerts, scheduled self-tests, automatic shutdown actions and firmware upgrades.
